Glow in the dark mini golf

We needed to write a recount. Here is my work.

Have you ever played glow in the dark mini golf?

I loved it when I got to play it. My mum,my step cousin and me drove to Whangarei.  It was fun.

“Yahoo!” I said.The first hole was one where you had to rebound it off the wall. The second one was a bit harder. You had to get it through the little hole in the spinning circle. The third hole was one where you had to be precise with the power. I got a lucky shot. I was speeding like a super-charged robot around the course.  I got a hole in one.  I was a machine. I was as proud as a soldier that won World War 1.

Plink! The ball fell into the hole. “I’m doing great” I said. After that we played a few more holes, and on the seventh hole my cousin nearly rebounded it off the wall into the hole in the next course. You are a circus performer,” I said.

At the end we did the maze hole . It looked like a group of whales. The first shot I did was a pretty good shot. I kept on trying to get up the temple and  at the end I got a seven. I got on par.  That was the best day ever.

This week we have been testing a new website that our teacher introduced us to. It is called Storyboard-That. It is a really cool site. I like this site a lot. Here is my work I did on it.

We have made myth narratives to try and explain a natural occursion. We have been also doing animations,movies and plays. Here is mine.

We have been doing narrative writing for weeks and we are finally finished. Here's mine.

Long, long ago in a place far away there was no changing of weather. Everything was very boring. Earth had only just been born in the giant galaxy. There was no water, no ice, no seasons. Nothing grew very well.There were four eggs. Nobody knew what type of creature it was inside the eggs. Soon they hatched. The first one that hatched was a wolf, it brought light everywhere and plants started to bloom. Secondly came a lion, it brought even more light, every flower looked at the lion. Thirdly came a bear, the bear brought wind. All of the leaves on trees fell off. Finally the last one hatched and it was a phoenix. It made snow, rain and wind.Then they came too close together. All the weather did not like each other. They started to fight each other. They wanted to determine who’s weather would rule the galaxy. The lion made the galaxy hotter. The bear brought leaves down as if it was raining leaves. The phoenix brought a couple of tornado's. And the wolf used flowers for a shield. Their fight carried on. Soon humans came along. They were worried that the creatures would die and there would be no heat to live or no rain to feed plants.Soon the creatures made a deal because they were all too hurt to fight.  And that is how seasons are made.
